Artist:

Tadeusz Baranowski, born in 1944 in Zamość, is a distinguished figure on the Polish artistic scene, valued both for his contribution to the field of comics and for his extraordinary achievements in painting and assemblage. His educational journey began at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where under the guidance of masters such as A. Nacht-Samborski and A. Kobzdej, Baranowski delved into the secrets of art, earning his diploma with honors in 1969.

His artistic career is full of experiments with various media and forms of expression, which allowed him to create his own, unique artistic language. Baranowski has always emphasized the importance of painting in his work, exploring and transcending the traditional approach to the canvas through innovative use of matter and space. His assemblages, characterized by complexity and richness of textures, tell stories without words, allowing the viewer their own interpretations and experiences.

Baranowski, with an unwavering love for exploring artistic boundaries, remains active and productive, constantly seeking new means of expression and ways to engage with the art world. His unending curiosity and passion for creation make him not only an important figure in the history of Polish art but also an inspiration for young artists seeking their own path of expression.
