“Klucznik” by Roch Urbaniak is a spectacular work that combines fantasy and surreal narrative. The central motif of the painting is a majestic palace floating on the backs of giant whales, seemingly drifting among golden clouds and a radiant sky. Urbaniak’s painterly vision blends maritime, architectural, and fairy-tale elements, creating a world straight out of imagination. Around the floating palace, smaller boats, birds, and delicate structures soar, giving the composition a dynamic sense of movement and lightness. The figure of the Keykeeper appears as the guardian of this otherworldly space – a symbol of a protector of secrets, guide through unknown worlds, and keeper of knowledge.
